East Liberty Presbyterian Church founded the Hope Academy of Music
and the Arts in 1999 in order to bring the arts to the children and youth
in Pittsburgh. Hope Academy offers a safe place for young people to
experience a wide variety of non-credit arts classes as well as
opportunities to perform, exhibit and take advantage of field trips to
professional cultural events in the city.
