element 5
We are dedicated to bringing
out the soul of underground culture
in the city of bridges and helping
build a community interconnected with the elements
beneath the surface. Our goal is to promote collective creativity through a
fluid intersection of people,
places, ideas and vibrations. In
doing so, we seek to connect independent arts and culture to the urban development of
June 8th Update. Our
apologies for the late update – technical difficulties. We mentioned an article last week naming
Pittsburgh as 4th best destination for the arts:

Y’all be the judge. We think there is something brewing in this
city. It’s under the surface right now, but it’s gathering momentum, inching
its way towards critical mass. While people who influence the flow of public money
can be critiqued for their part in the current state of affairs, young people
gotta take a look at their own attitudes.
Talk is fine but actions speak louder. If you feel there is something
missing, it’s not going to magically appear on its own. Take the initiative, be
your own leader, roll up the sleeves and make it happen. We proved at our last two events that you
don’t need city hall, grant money, or private foundations to make a
difference. All that’s needed is a
community and its resources nucleating in warm fusion.
