community + cultural info

After a very difficult week recovering from the recent vandalism the Union Project had a very successful weekend participating in the Highland Park Community Yard Sale. On Sunday we had approximately 250 people visit us. Many simply stopped by to say hello and give their condolences and offer their support. Between Saturday and Sunday we also had 14 volunteers - 10 of whom had never been inside the Union Project before!

As with any garage sale we still have many high quality items that weren’t purchased - So we are happy to announce a “Free Sale” for Thursday, June 5th from 4 pm to 7 pm. We have desks, chairs, furniture, clothes, Christmas decorations, dishes and more.

Donate $1 and sign up for our mailing list and you can take as many Yard Sale items as you want. Union Project staff will be happy to assist you in loading your car, but everything must be taken by 7 pm.

Call 412-478-3105 if you have questions.
