BRIDGE
TO INDEPENDENCE BENEFIT
What:
-Eclectic local music event featuring over 30 bands and DJs from every possible genre, as well as local painters, writers, artists, performers, etc. Door proceeds will benefit Bridge to Independence whose mission is “to provide supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless and/or financially deprived, to empower them to become self sufficient.”
-This event is sponsored by City Paper, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and many third party sponsors.
-ONE
HUNDRED PERCENT of door proceeds go to charity. Donations and performance time
are tax deductible and City Paper will provide a receipt of this for all artists
and sponsors.
When:
-Sunday,
November 9th. 4-12 PM (subject to change depending on final line-up).
Where:
-Club Laga, The Attic, and Upstage.
-Full bands
will be performing on the Laga and Attic stages. Acoustic, novelty, and
performance acts will be taking place at the Upstage.
Promotion:
-Three half-page ads to run in City Paper on 10/22, 10/29, and 11/5
-web listing
-any filler space in City Paper 4 weeks prior to event date
-10,000 handbills printed and passed out throughout the city
-200 11x17 posters throughout the city
-All local music organization mass email lists (MAP, Happenings, Element 5, etc.)
-Laga website listing
-WPTS 92.1 FM radio promotion
-The
Pitt News article to run week of show

-Sponsor listing in all City Paper ads. These half page ads are valued at $1000 each!
-Sponsor listing in over 10,000 fliers and posters distributed before the event.
-Table on-site to sell/buy/trade merchandise or promote your business and services
-Inclusion in City Paper website listing
-Logo and business/store/organization description in event program
